It's been four years!

Can't believe that it's been four years since my last entry! It certainly doesn't mean that I haven't been walking. But the children have grown and they have their own will, and walking is not their favourite past-time activity. Although saying that, Maurice has been accompanying me on most of the walks. And Summer is my ever-faithful friend who loves the walks as much as I do, if not more.
Main event during those 4 years is the fact that in September 2015 I discovered dancing. I've always loved watching dancers on TV, but never really danced myself - apart from couple of school discos. Who would have thought that I would fall head over heels in love with dancing? That means it is taking up all of my time, and leaves me less time for walking. I am still learning how to balance those two in my life so that neither suffers:)
I have no idea, why I'm writing again, but here I am. This morning when preparing for the walk on My View Ranger, I discovered the 1000 mile challenge. I signed up for it, but still keeping quiet about it as I have my doubts that I can do it - in one year. Oh, may be that's the reason for me writing too - to keep me motivated:)

Today's walk was in Twyford. I am ashamed that I haven't been there before, cause it is so close to my home and is such an amazing walk!

The walk started by an old Silk Mill. Funny how I used to look after an old lady who lived right next to River London and it still took me so long to do the walk!

I was glad that Summer didn't actually jump in in here:)

One of the lakes which is part of Dinton Pastures Country Park. I have walked there a lot, but never on this side.

Railway Bridge -first under,. later over.

                                                                    30 degrees!

                                                                 I love these clouds

Summer cooling off. I had to wait until I get back home into our swimming pool. I even forgot my water bottle home, after filling it.

                                                                        A loner

Every village should have a defibrillator in the middle of it!

This reminds me of Estonia - fields, blue sky

I hope that my next entry will be a bit sooner than two years and that after today's 4.6 miles they start adding up! If you enjoyed reading or just looking at pictures, feel free to leave a feedback! Until next long(er) walk!
